The 5ft wide 50SR-8 is Big Tex’s smallest dump trailer. It’s a single axle dump, with a 5ft wide and 8ft long dump box. Just like the larger Big Tex dumps, the 50SR has an electric-over-hydraulic pump system with handheld pendant control. The deck is 29″ from the ground and the side walls on this trailer are 20″ tall. The 50SR is lightweight (1,680 lbs. empty) and can be towed by a 1/2-ton pickup or even a car. Like all Big Tex trailers, it tows very smoothly due to the trailer design and axle placement. With a payload capacity of 3,490 lbs. this trailer is made to handle small sized jobs. For larger applications, we offer Big Tex dump trailers in 7K, 10K, 12K, 14K, 16K, and 26K weight capacities.
