Summit Trailer’s entry level lineup of metal-sided utility trailers includes this Alpine 30SV-10 (5×10) utility. Even though it’s their lower cost line, these Alpine trailers are extremely well built. The trailer tongue is made of rectangular steel tubing – almost all other manufacturers use channel for the tongue. A heavy duty 3,500 lb. cambered axle with easy-lube hubs is more than enough to carry the payload on this trailer. This unit has Summit’s unique Lightspeed rear ramp package. It’s a single swing door and a pair of loading ramps in one! The rear swing door is made from two individual ramps that are held together with a special latch. When the latch is unlocked, each ramp can be easily lifted off its hinges and set in place on the back of the trailer.
